Nominations for The Best Small Fictions 2019

KYSO Flash is pleased to announce the nomination of five works (which we published during calendar year 2018) for the fifth annual Best Small Fictions Anthology *

Flash Fiction:

Haibun Story:

Micro-Fiction:

Prose Poems:

The 2019 Guest Editor for Best Small Fictions [BSF] is Rilla Askew, author of four novels and a collection of short stories, and the winner of numerous awards including the O. Henry Award for her story “The Killing Blanket” and the American Book Award and the Myers Book Award for her novel “Fire in Beulah.” Ms. Askew will be judging the BSF finalists. Winners, finalists, and semi-finalists will be notified in spring 2019, and the anthology will be published in the fall.
