Poem: 50 words

Timbers

by Ian Randall Wilson

Night ornamented
by the air of pious sewers.
The sand is sighing.

Along the shore
a crowd gathers for a fireworks display.
When the event is canceled they throw rocks.

The wounded are carried off.
The night shines down
with only the smallest recorded changes from the century before.
