Thank you for dropping by. At KYSO Flash we aim to publish memorable works of art and literature. We celebrate very short forms, up to 1,000 words each, and our journal offers a smorgasbord of delicacies:

  • ⚡  Prose poetry
  • ⚡  Flash and micro-fiction
  • ⚡  Hybrid forms such as haibun
  • ⚡  Essays and creative nonfiction
  • ⚡  Photographs, drawings, and fine art
  • ⚡  Poetry, both free verse and structured
 

Short forms are deceptively difficult to write well, and though they take only a few minutes to read, the best resonate far longer than that. Perhaps for a lifetime. We are dedicated to searching for and publishing such gems—please dive in to see the latest we’ve found for you!
